1) What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?
What surprised me was the section on microfinance and how the author thinks that it will solve poverty. I wasn't familiar with this perspective before.

Nothing was confusing to me.

Do you think microfinance will grow in the future?
What happens when families do not pay the loans back?

I do not disagree with any of the points the author made.
